Loose Cannon Update/Bad Judgment Bonus Content

Lots to read!

First, I finally posted that excerpt for Loose Cannon, and if you're thinking that you don't care because you've already read it, think again. I included the second chapter too. ;D

Part of the reason it took so long is that I was struggling with how much to include. When Bad Judgment came out, I included the first two chapters because the first chapter of that book has a lot of plot set-up and "Hi, this is Brogan" set-up, and I wanted to let readers see more of my heroes' interactions so they'd be able to tell if the book would be up their alley or not. That one was kind of a no-brainer.

The reason I hesitated with Loose Cannon is because the second chapter gets a little NSFW. I wasn't sure how I felt about including that kind of material on the website, but finally I decided that a warning would be sufficient since we're all adults here anyway. Or at least we better be. If you're not an adult, you maybe shouldn't be here. Not that I don't think you're great (it's kind of my default setting until someone proves otherwise), but explicit content seems like the sort of thing under-18s shouldn't have willy-nilly access to. Ask your parents or something, and until then, shoo.

Now I feel like a hypocrite, though, because I was reading romance novels when I was fifteen, so. Probably no one should listen to me about this sort of thing. But I digress.

One last detail: this next newsletter will include a slightly different kind of bonus content for Bad Judgment than I've released before. The last two were post-epilogue time stamps, giving you guys an idea of how things fall out for Brogan and Embry down the line, but this one's an actual outtake that didn't make it into the book.
